I’ve heard before that meeting with an attorney can be intimidating and anxiety-inducing for some. I’m here to tell you: it doesn’t have to be. I’m here to help and make this consultation clear, concise, yet approachable.

I will walk you through and ask you for the items I need to evaluate the case. BUT If you want to prepare, here are some pointers:

  • Please have the police “pink sheet” or “yellow sheet” with the police report number and any other info the officer gave you.

  • (Assuming this is a car crash) If you don’t have car damage photos of your vehicle, please snap a wide view of the damage and then a close-up photo of the damage. The more photos, the better!

  • Gather any and all photos or videos of the scene.

  • Gather any and all photos of injuries sustained.

  • Any witnesses? See if you can get their names and phone numbers.

  • Insurance claim information (policy and/or claim numbers).

  • Did you go to the hospital? A copy of the discharge papers goes a long way!

Again, I’ll walk you through and gather these items, but if you want to prepare, this short list can get you started!
